Johnson County Dog Club

Johnson County 4-H Dog Club is a project-based club made up of 4-H’ers ranging in age from 7–18. We focus on dog-related information and activities (fun, service, training and showing). You don’t even have to have a dog to participate! All members can learn about dogs and participate in activities.

Dog Club’s focus is to build a sense of pride and community in 4-H'ers and to provide an encouraging atmosphere for youth and adults who all work together.

Some activities the Dog Club participates in include:
• community service at dog rescue centers,
• dog park visits,
• guest speakers with professions related to dogs,
• dog training,
• dog shows,
• and much, much more!

Dog Club members are welcome and encouraged to pursue other project interests as well, we just don't commit club time to those unless a member asks to practice their presentation skills at a meeting.

Dog Club welcomes new members. For questions and more information, please visit our website or contact our Community Leaders.
