Morning Glory 4-H Club
Club Description: Morning Glory 4-H Club was established in 1956. We are a Community Club that meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Grange Building on the Johnson County Fairgrounds. However, we sometimes have a special meeting time or date due to certain fun activities, so please call to check.
Morning Glory members are involved in many projects such as: Clothing, Foods, Visual Arts, Photography, Leadership, Rocketry, Entomology, Forestry, Dogs, Livestock of all kinds, Rabbits, Goats, Shooting Sports, etc.
During monthly meetings, members give project talks and demonstrations. Members are encouraged to expand their skills by participating in community service, citizenship, and public speaking opportunities offered at local, county, and regional levels.
Many members are very active at County and Regional Club Days, giving talks, presentations, and instrumentals. In addition, our club has presented a Model Meeting, Group Dance or One-Act Play at County and Regional Club Days that involves most of the members, receiving top awards. We also have a float in the Johnson County Fair parade.
Whatever their interests or goals, Morning Glory members display a strong sense of caring and respect for each other. Come join in the fun with us!
